North Macedonia’s Sept Net Salary up 16.4% YoY

Net salary in North Macedonia has increased by 16.4% year-on-year to 37,876 MKD (613.6 euro) in September, data from the country’s statistical office said.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the following sectors: electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (25.8%), public administration and defense; compulsory social security (24.8%), water supply; sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (20.5%), the statistical office added.

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in September 2023 was 56,896 MKD (921.7 euro).
