Greece October Unemployment Rate at 9.6%

Greece’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in October was 9.6% compared to 11.8% in October 2022 and to the upwards revised 10.3% in September 2023, the country’s statistical office said.

The number of employed persons amounted to 4,257,939, increased by 3.5% as compared with October 2022 and by 1.3% compared to September 2023.

The number of unemployed persons amounted to 453,783, decreased by 17.9% year-on-year and by 5.9% from September 2023.
