Greece’s September unemployment falls to 10% from 12.1% in Sept 2022

Greece’s unemployment rate fell to 10% in September 2023 from 12.1% in the same period a year earlier, the country’s statistical office said.

According to the local newspaper Kathimerini, this is the lowers unemployment rate since September 2009 when it reached 10.1%.

Greece has a population of 10.5 million according to the last Population and Housing census in 2021.
