Competition Commission Approves Intrakat Group to Acquire Greece’s Aktor

The Competition Commission has granted its approval to Greece’s Intrakat Group to acquire Aktor, the construction arm of ELLAKTOR Group, Greece’s daily newspaper Kathimerini reported.

“The acquisition of all the shares of Aktor has been approved by the Competition Commission, thus putting the Intrakat Group’s vision of creating a strong pillar in construction in Southeast Europe on track for immediate completion, which will generate value for the economy and the country,” the newspaper said, quoting Intrakat Group’s announcement.

Intrakat Group has operations in infrastructure development, commercial and industrial construction and steel structure manufacturing, as well as telecommunications, renewable energy, environmental management and real estate development projects for the public and private sectors.
