Croatia’s Konzum Invests 30 Million Euro for Salaries Increase

Croatian largest supermarket chain will invest 30 million euro to increase the salaries of its employees, the local daily business newspaper Poslovni Dnevnik reported on its website.

By this , the gross salary at the position of salesman, where more than 50% of all Konzum employees work, will increase by an average of 20%, Poslovni Dnevnik said.

The average monthly net salary in Croatia for September 2023 amounted to 1 156 euro.

Konzum has a network of over 700 stores throughout the country and more than 10,000 employees.

Headquartered in Zagreb, Konzum is part of the Fortenova Group since April 2019.
