Finance Accounting Executive

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for the Finance Accounting Executive in our office in Pristina! We are in need for someone with strong accounting skills, meticulous approach and high ethical values. Since you would be providing important data services and communication to colleagues and partners  daily, interpersonal skills are an essential requirement!

Reports to: Chief Accounting

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Review taxes and relevant reports submitted to state authorities and manage tax and custom audits/controls as well as ad hoc requirements from these institutions
• Follow up on tax legislative updates and requirements
• Liaise with auditors and assist external audit process
• Coordinate monthly closing process and responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts, accruals, provisions
• Supporting preparation of financial statements based on IFRS and CIT calculations
• Reconcile distributor remuneration & KPI’s
• Follow up on budget expenses.
• Prepare month-end journal posting.

• Are you a meticulous person and willing to develop constantly and support the team in the daily activities?
• Do you have a proven experience in a similar role in international companies?
• Are you proficient in English(written and spoken)?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position.
• Good knowledge of international accounting standards – IFRS
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Commitment to partnership and strong analytical skills
• Good spoken and written English proficiency.
• High level PC skills
• Knowledge on SAP system (will be considered as an advantage)
