Fixed Asset Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals assets in the Fixed Asset module in SAP, for both US GAAP and Greek Accounting Standards registry.
• Run the monthly depreciation and ensure that depreciation accounting is completed in a timely manner.
• Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
• Perform the reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register via General Ledger.
• Act as the point of contact and participate in audits, by providing all necessary data to the Auditors of the Company.
• Perform physical counts of fixed assets and record the results to the FA registry.
• Be responsible for various accounting activities such as month end, reporting, manual journal entries, and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• At least 3 years of working experience in similar position (fixed assets accounting).
• Strong knowledge and experience of fixed assets and General Ledger.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Very good knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent use of the Greek and English language.
