North Macedonia’s Jan-Sept Tourists Arrivals Rise 21.8%

Number of tourists that visited North Macedonia has increased 21.8%, the country’s statistical office showed.

According to the data of the statistical office, the number of tourists in September alone was 124 800, out of which 27.9% were
domestic tourists and 72.1% were foreign tourists.

The number of nights spent in September 2023 was 256,831, out of which 34.3% were by domestic and 65.7% by foreign tourists.

In the period January – September, the number of nights spent increased by 10.2%.
