Low-cost air carrier Wizzair will start operating flights from Skopje to Salzburg three times per week starting April 1 next year, MIA reported.
Skopje – Salzburg is one of the four new routes for which the company signed a contract for subsidies with the government in North Macedonia.
Wizzair started flights from Skopje to Ljubljana in September, the route to Luxembourg will start operating in December and flights to Stuttgart are yet to be scheduled.
Wizzair was already operating Skopje – Salzburg flights but the route was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
