Slovenian Insurer Sava’s Jan-Sept Net Profit Up 4.5% Despite Floods

Slovenian insurer Sava posted a net profit of 36.5 million euro in the first nine months of 2023, 4.5% more than in the same period a year ago, the company’s non-audited financial results showed.

In the summer of 2023, Slovenia and the wider region were hit by a wave of storms and floods with a significant impact on Q3 earnings of 27.1 million euro, the company said in the report.

In addition to the Slovenian market, Sava Insurance Group is present in Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
