Bulgaria’s October CPI Up 5.8% YoY

Bulgarian Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 5.8% annually in October, the country’s statistical office said.

Compared to September, the inflation was 0.4%.

An increase was registered in sectors for recreation and culture (+6.7%), clothing and footwear (+5.7%), education (+1.1%), furnishings, household equipment, and routine maintenance of the house (+0.8%). The highest decrease was recorded in the prices for housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels (-0.4%), food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.4%) and transport (-0.3%), the statistical office said.
