Bulgarian unit of German retailer Billa will invest 68 million BGN (34.7 million euro) in opening of 12 new shops and in reconstruction of 11 existing stores in 2024, Bulgarian weekly newspaper Kapital reported.
Billa Bulgaria will also invest 3.0 million BGN (1.5 million) in photovoltaic installations at the roofs of five of the company’s parking garages, Kapital quoted the company’s CEO Vygintas Sapokas.
Billa entered Bulgarian market in 2000 and currently has a total of 154 stores in the country.
