Croatia’s HEP, KONCAR – Inzenjering Sign 11.1 Million Euro Power Plant Construction Deal

Croatian energy company Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP) signed 11.1 million euro deal with local company KONCAR – Inzenering for the design and construction of Dugopolje Solar Power Plant.

The Installed capacity of the power plant will amount to 13.54 MW, and its connected capacity to 10 MW. It is expected to generate 17.2 million kilowatt hours annually, which will suffice to supply around 6,000 households, HEP said in a statement.

“SPP Dugopolje is going to be the twelfth and so far the biggest solar power plant in our portfolio,” the statement added.

The deadline for the completion of works is 18 months following the signing of the contract.
