Laser Welding Specialist

You will be responsible for Laser Welding Process :

Process Development and Optimization:
o    Design and develop laser welding processes.
o    Optimize laser welding processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
o    Conduct experiments to determine optimal welding parameters (e.g., laser power, speed, focus) for different applications.

Equipment Setup and Maintenance:
o    Set up, calibrate, and maintain laser welding equipment to ensure reliable and consistent performance.
o    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laser welding equipment and processes.
o    Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on laser welding systems.

Quality Assurance:
o    Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and ensure the quality of laser-welded joints.
o    Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any welding-related quality issues.

Collaboration and Communication:
o    Work closely with core team engineering to review product designs and ensure they are compatible with laser welding processes.
o    Provide technical support and training to production operators on laser welding techniques and best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:
o    Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and weld parameter records.
o    Prepare and present reports on process performance, including key metrics such as yield, cycle time, and defect rates.

To be successful in the role you must have:

-    Relevant background in production fields;
-    Familiar with PFMEA, Capabilities, time studies, line balancing;
-    Fluency in English;
-    Good skills in, MS-Office;
-    Team spirit, proactive, willing to learn.
-    2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (welding processes)
-    Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills
-    Strong understanding of mechanical, material properties, and weld joint design, experience with welding inspection and testing methods.

Will be great if you have:

-    Technical design knowledge, AutoCAD, Creo
-    Experience with automated machineries / industrial robots
-    Graduate Engineer
