Description

The focus of the role will be on Talent Acquisition. The role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing and hiring prospective employees in order to find the perfect match to meet the company's short-, mid- and long-term goals in terms of staffing. This position sources candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosts or participates in career events. This position develops short-, mid- and long-term talent acquisition strategies, nurtures trusting relationships with potential hires, and creates strong talent pipelines for the company’s current and future hiring needs.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement effective and efficient talent acquisition/sourcing strategies including college/campus marketing and recruiting, part of the company’s employer branding initiatives.
  • Coordinate with HR HOD, Business Partners and hiring managers to identify staffing needs; be aware and understand quarterly and annual hiring needs by division/team.
  • Organize and attend job fairs, career and recruiting events.
  • Source potential candidates through most effective and efficient channels (e.g. social platforms; professional networks; recruitment agencies; recruitment fairs and exhibitions).
  • Determine selection criteria, and plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using an effective and efficient Applicant Tracking System (if applicable).
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates and build up a talent pool.
  • Build sustainable talent acquisition/sourcing pipelines through innovative processes such as but not limited to social media interviews, video sharing platforms, or the like.
  • Keep up with industry and market trends

Skills and Qualifications

  • Hands-on, in-depth experience with full-cycle recruiting including but not limited to active sourcing using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Adept with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Keen understanding of the differences for each role within the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and research talent acquisition/sourcing options and alternatives.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ethical mindset.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work/navigate in international and multi-cultural environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large number of parallel recruitment processes
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3 years proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
