North Macedonia’s Oct Net Salary Up 17.3% YoY

North Macedonia’s net salary in October 2023 rose 17.3% year-on-year to 38,843 MKD (630.5 euro), the country’s statistical office said.

This increase is caused by the increase of October’s average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Public administration and defense; compulsory social security (26.2%), Water supply; sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (20.2%), Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (20.0%), the data from the statistical office showed.

An increase in October’s average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Real estate activities (8.2%), Financial and insurance activities (6.5%), Human health and social work activities (4.6%).
