Low-cost air carrier Ryanair will connect Dubrovnik to 16 new destinations, Croatian public broadcasting company HRT reported.
The connections include London, Dublin, and Vienna throughout winter, HRT reported.
During the first year of the new expansion, the airport in Dubrovnik will process some 600,000 passengers more, it added.
Last week, Ryanair announced the introduction of flights from Sarajevo to five European cities starting next March, business portal biznisinfo.ba reported.
The company plans to transport 200,000 passengers from Sarajevo in the first year and to increase the numbers after.
Ryanair’s route network serves over 40 countries in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The primary operational bases are at Dublin, London Stansted and Milan Bergamo airports.
