Stada Romania Completes 70% of 50 Million Euro Factory
Stada Romania said its 50 million euro factory in the city of Turda is 70% completed, Romanian portal News.ro reported.
The 30,000 square metres facility will have a maximum production capacity of over 160 million packages of medicine, News.ro added.
The facility will have nine production lines with possibility for a rapid expansion of the production lines to up to 12 and will create new 375 jobs, the company said on its website.
The construction is expected to be completed by 2024.
The Stada factory in Turda will be built using modern, state-of-the-art technology, as well as low-energy consuming facilities such as photovoltaic solar panels, a solar thermal system and even a green roof to balance temperature fluctuations, Stada Romania said.
Stada Romania is a subsidiary of Germany’s Stada Arzneimittel AG.
